One of the most fresh and intriguing possibilities of Experience design is how to enrich emotional and reflective life moments by nurturing emotion through the marriage of art and technology.
With rich content and immediate access to a variety of cultures, the Internet provides an exciting medium to inquire into common needs we all share, in particular our very human need to make sense of the world in which we live.
Ideas for this research evolved from my studies of the spiritual space created by Italian Architecture and reflection on Interface Culture, by Stephen Johnson.
The experience of creating this spiritual space taught me invaluable lessons:
- the power of simplicity when designing for human
connection
- the realization that we can change the perceived impression and nature of a medium
- and, the importance of using technology to bring us back to our physical world.
